1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a forest bathing walk, wellness retreat, or group nature experience with Quietwood, you agree to these terms. Our goal is to provide a calm, safe, and restorative environment. We ask all participants to review these guidelines to ensure a harmonious experience in the forest.

2. Bookings and Payments

All guided nature walks and retreats must be booked in advance. Full payment is required to secure your spot. For group wellness experiences, a partial deposit may be required, with the remaining balance due before the scheduled date.

3. Health and Safety

Shinrin-yoku is a gentle, slow-paced practice, but it takes place outdoors on natural, sometimes uneven terrain. Participants must be able to walk comfortably on woodland paths. If you have any medical conditions or mobility concerns, please inform our guides before booking. You are responsible for your own health and safety during our walks.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your forest bathing session or retreat, please notify us as soon as possible.

Cancellations made more than 7 days before a walk receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 2 and 7 days receive a 50% refund.
Retreat cancellations require 30 days notice for a full refund.
In the event of severe weather, Quietwood may cancel a walk for safety reasons. In this case, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Respect for Nature

Our practice relies on the tranquility and health of the natural environment. All participants are required to respect the woodland habitats. We follow a strict leave-no-trace policy. Please refrain from loud noises, disturbing wildlife, or picking plants during the guided experiences.
